The ones I have here were bred outdoors in France, this is the first time I've ever been able to get hold of CB Tiger Salamanders.

I'm waiting for a detailed breeding account to come through, I will supply a copy of this with the purchase of the Salamanders.

I have an adult pair of tiger salamanders. They spend most of the year in a small pond in the outdor vivarium. As their relatives axolotls breed in water, I am wondering if tiger salamanders do the same or do they breed on land. Does any member know? The books I have say nothing about this. Alistair McFarlane.

Didnt you have some success with egg laying last year Alistair? Some eggs were laid in the water, looking just like axolotl eggs, but they were infertile. No eggs at all laid this year. Possibly some stimulating factor was missing. Axolotls breed readily if the water is cooled, but I do not know if tiger salamanders need something similar. Alistair.
