Yes, that is another enclosure to the left, housing almanzoris and P. fuscus. Both of the vivs have overhangs on the corners to prevent the sals climbing out generally the fire sals are too heavy to climb vertical surfaces but can wedge climb the corners

Hi Adam, i have seen all of your pictures on the site so far and am very impressed. I have been studying caudata for over 50 years now and still struggle with many species. Just wondered a few things, do you not want to try plants in the galaica enclosure it would enhance the microclimate and create a more pleasant environment for both the salamanders and yourself.
Another thing, your little Emys is fantastic, you must be doing a real good job rearing them for it to look as healthy as that, what do you feed the Emys and do they have access to unfiltered sunlight?
Thanks and good look with your animals
Julian

Hi thanks for your message Julian. Yes to all questions. All my reptiles receive unfiltered sunlight, i also try to provide my diurnal frogs with it aswell particularly at metamorphosis. The are plants in the enclosure which shall take some time to establish but as the viv is relatively new, i shall keep addidng plants as and when i can.
