This is my new Bombina variegata enclosure you will notice there are other ponds next to it, I also plan on enclosing these Some of the toads

That pool looks like it may be a bit tricky for them to get out of if the water level were to drop slightly, do you have an area of rocks or similar in the water for them to climb out on?

Yes the right hand corner (in the middle pic the right corner closest to the camera) of the pond has a planted area that is basically some rocks that make a little dam and this is filled with aquatic compost and a few marginal plants. they can get out at this corner no problem.

I know its an old topic burwhat height walls? How deep under ground do they go? How deep substrat and is there a bottom or is it just on the ground? Sorry for so many questions!

I removed the bombina from this enclosure as the walls were not high enough. they were fine until the grass started to grow. I was afraid it would get too long and I would loose them all!

HI Killian the enclosure looks nice especially with the campanula growing over the edge of the "pond". Do you not worry about cats or birds trying to attack them??
