I found thses in pond today it is actually full of them. anybody know what they are? and are they dangerous to tadpoles?

they are dytiscus larvaes, they eat everything (insects, fish, amphibains larvaes and adults) and are very dangerous.

They are dytiscus larvae i can only backup what the other fellow said, but i can also say they are excellent food for your salamanders if you can ensure they don't bite.

Dont worry the axolotl thouroughly enjoyed them didnt even give them a chance to bite
