No tubifex is tubifex (a true segmented worm) and Bloodworm is a species of chironomid midge (diptera?), i think that is correct but i can't give you any further details.

your are right. i can't give any more info apart from the fact that they aren't as good as earthworms

The fact that blood worms are midges makes them unfortunately very hard to culture in captivity.
