Do others struggle to feed the really small young lizards like common lizards and the walls ? Just a little tip that may help; I feed mine the greenfly from the roses. If you're not too bothered about your roses that is. The greenfly congregate around the soft new growth for the year, I just snap it off below the insects and place it in the cages. The lizards soon learn that it means feeding time. Unfortunately it's hasn't been a good year for greenfly but last year they lasted most of the summer.

I use the same technique myself Chris (and its even more useful for tiny toads) usually just until I can get them on fruit flies. Yep it has been a bad year for aphids, my only reliable source has been my plum trees. Read a nice care sheet for Bumblebee walking toads (I think on Frogforum) where the author talked of setting up a "composting" tank to ensure his toad metamorphs would have constant access to tiny critters.
