I have a male salamandra terrestris (soon to be a pair) in a very large 1.5m enclosure and I was thinking since its so large I could house some Ichthyosaura alpestris in it it has lots of hiding spots and it has been place where the whole enclosures is frost free and I will guarantee 100% it will not frost over and has a pool wich could be change suited to the newts and is impossible to escape with over hang mesh lid and in the wild they will naturally come across each other any way. Just thinking harry.

They can live together but if you plan on breeding the salamanders the newts will eat the aquatic larvae.
