i've been hit my the outdoor vivarium bug! i'm getting a polycarbonate frame, similar to the one that Killian uses for his lizards, 1 meter by 60cm.
now to plan for species... caudates, of course!

The pygs should breed, as justin said the amle is very full of eggs, which is very evident upon receipt of them. The male is begginning to grow his crest so i do expect plenty of young. The funny thing though which most people don't realise is that the size of the pygs is very comparable to marmoratus, this pair are as big as my adult female marm!!! The colouration and patterning though is very different.

adam, i'll send a picture of my male "marmoratus". try to compare it with your pygmaeus because after my breeding failure i have doubts about his specific type.

well i've finished the vivarium, complete with hibernacular, coldframe, outdoor run and pond. the Lissotriton vulgaris have rewarded me with a bunch of eggs, and i've still to get a mate for the lonly helveticus. the Acanthodactyluth are being hardened off in the coldframe, and i'm still waiting to find a sutible source of slow worms and common lizards.
