My terrestris have given birth, she only had one isthat normal? would have expected a few more? maybe I interupted her? time will tell. Any way here are a couple of pics of the larvae he is quite big and has his four legs.

Very good!!! Yes it is quite normal, i would probably expect a few more larvae though as they don't always give birth to them all in one go. Keep checking. Adam

I heard she could have up to 30 but how they could all fit inside her I have no idea? i hope she does drop more. will go and check now actually!!

They usually give birth to from one to ten at a time, I have two groups of four females and one male. One group started producing young on the first of october 04 and were having a few every couple of days till end of april this year. They had about 120 in total, The first of em have now left the water. The other group are kept in identical conditions but didnt produce any young this year. I feed the young on white worms which live for weeks in the water if they are not eaten.
