Hi After this winter I saw, that I had to rebuild some of my terraria outside Even I had concrete 70 cm down, moles still came inn and ruined everything. So I had to dig them all out, and place wire net followed bye plastic net, before I put gravel and sand inn. The terraria are 2m x 2m so it is a lot of work. One is nearly finished and another is My Lacerta strigata "Groznyi" are already there, and the female just deposited her eggs ..............somewhere But that is not all. We have been working on our larger project also. 15 m x 10 m for lizards. Also protected against these irritating moles (I really hate them) So try to imagine how much gravel and sand that has to me moved Hopefully done this year. Then there is room for some more lizards. Lacerta agilis red back male Melanistic Zootoca vivipara Best wishes Søe

Very, very impressed ! WE have just finished some 2x2m enclosures also. I will post some pics soon as well. Really nice design of the finished ones. I hope we can see some pics also of the other type once they are done.
In what part of the world are you Soe ?

I am danish. Similar climate as yours in UK, just a little colder in the summertime.
WHEN I get the sand in and can continue (still too wet soil) I will continue. Be sure that when it is done I will show pics.
Best wishes Søe

Wauw, that all looks great, Soe. I´d be happy with just one little 2m x 2m enclosure for our N. maura! Must content myself with finding and watching a big female N. natrix and a beautiful male V. berus in our "garden" last week. Not seen any lizards yet, but have heard them scurrying into hiding.
Spike.
