Is it too late for my Bombina to breed? I keep them in my greenhouse and some of them are looking quite plump. I havent heard them calling however

This is not a great one but you can see them, The two adults that were beside the eggs have now moved on. I am really dissapointed as I would have loved to breed them

My Midwife toads laid eggs under a log. there are two of them sitting beside the eggs but they are just lying on the ground. are they doomed? or can I do something to aid the eggs in hatching? any help would be most appreciated

i found one of these guys out and about today, he is very dark, is that normal when they emerge from hibernation?

No offence taken Adam this forum is for advise. what do you think is wrong with the ponds? they are about 9" deep. The one for the marbled newts is the same is that ok?

well done, funny mine do that all the time. I find if you pick them up between the front legs and back- round the waist so to speak they do it automatically.

Yes they arrived thanks, they are very nice bigger than I expected. I saw all of them eat shortly after I released a few crickets in the enclosure. some of them ate several crickets. do you think they will breed this year?

would these guys do best in a greenhouse or open topped enclosure? the greenhouse gets quite warm. where did these orginate from Andrew?
