This is the new Common Lizard and slow worm enclosure I built today. Its construction was quite simple. I made a wooden frame for the enclosure then screwed plastic on the inside walls. I then sunk it a few inches into the ground. It is on a slop anyway south facing but I made a little hill inside for basking. The inside of the hill has broken pipes and stones which the animals can hide in and hunt. The plastic I obtained from a local company that manufature signs. It was €35 a sheet of 8' x4' I am planning on making a sandy area and also adding a few more plants before the reptiles arrive. I dont think an over hang is nessesary as the walls are 2' high but I will net the roof to stop cats and birds preying on the reptiles. any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated
