hi everyone when me and my dad lived in malaga natrix maura was very common along the river and we usually used to catch beautiful specimens of them. one time we took one home and we made a little habitat for it. we got a fairly big plastic storage box and filled it with sand and soil mixed and a few rocks. then we cut a hole in the side and attached a 5liter water bottle to it then we filled the bottle with water so it would just be at the rim of the mouth. we filled the bottle with fish fry from the river and it lived happily, resting eating and swimming. it was a really great set up and we were proud of it. ;D i just wondered if anyone sells them, for old times sake. i thought someone on this forum could help me out.

Hello, I live in the South of France, and it is true that this species is without a dout the most common. I have seen this species for sale before now, but not in any of the countreis of it's natural distribution. I have my own website, if you are interested in looking up the Viperine snake, the page is: www.reptilia-amphibia.net/en/snake/natrix-mE.htmlHope you like it
