Hi Killian, no i dont keep any of these outside though i have known Bombina to be kept and bred in a greenhouse. Another friend of mine kept his Ambystoma Maculatum this way too. Whilst on the subject though, last week i did find an axolotl in my pond! I had too many eggs a few years ago and put some in the pond, i had forgot about it till i cleaned the pond and found one very healthy looking axie!

I keep bombina veriagata outdoor but hope to get some bombina bombina for my greenhouse (if I ever get it finished) I too has too many axolotl tadpoles this year so introduced a couple to one of my ponds, havent seen them since but there is loads of daphnia in there so hopefully they will thrive.

Hello Killian. You know me from caudata.org. I've registered here, I just haven't recieved my password . Well I don't keep anything in an outdoor viv, but I'm thinking of maybe moving my axolotl out doors. I also have a couple of reptiles which will eventually out grow their current housing, but they will need to be kept in a heated environment. In the distant future I think I will probably have more animals appropriate for outdoor enclosures, but for the time being I'm limiting myself to only a few more animals then I currently have max and collecting information on this fascinating hobby.

Well it's been many days and I still haven't recieved a password . I've said I've forgotten my password many times and it's said it has sent it many times but it hasn't. I think you might want to look into it to see if anything's wrong with the site. How can people participate if they can't access their account? I hope this gets sorted out.

Is anybody else checking this site, or more importantly capable of helping me get my password? This has become pretty frustrating for me .

I'ld create another acount to see if that would work, but I know that many forums have a policy against this. I guess I'll try now and sort all that out later.

Well I finally got it to work by creating a different acount. I accidentally created a third one in the process so I'm going to have to delete it. I also need someone to delete the one I can't access. Anyhelp will be greatly apreciated.

Welcome Ben nice collection of amphibians ambystoma tigrinum mavortium triturus alpestris timon lepida should do well in an outdoor enclosure but not together the tigrinum mavortium would probably eat the others. keep us updated on your progress.
