I am trying to find an invertabrate that would be suitable to release in my enclosures and breed in large numbers suplying the animals with a good food source. I have introduced some crickets to the green house and can hear them singing but I dont know if they will breed in there? any ideas?

You can try making a small "compost heap" of leaf mould, grass cuttings etc. in the corner of the enclosure. This will provide a supply of several species of springtails, woodlice, earthworms and whiteworms.

Hi when I was breeding viper in my outdoor terrariums I allways started up in springtime with adding 20-30 crickets, this way there was always a lot of small-medium crickets at the time when the small vipers where born, and they where always started up without problems
