finally a message!
the season isn't over for me yet, my ambystoma opacum are showing signs of breeding! my marms are too young, and i've only just got my alpestris so i'll have to wait till next year for them.

I think this would be a great topic for everyone to fill out as it lets others see what is possible in an outdoor vivarium. I would also be interested in other species suitable for outdoors that perhaps have been bred in a tank.
If youve bred anything special let us know how you achieved it.
This year I bred Mesotriton alpestris apuanus (quite a few of) in a coldframe, and S.s.terrestris again in a coldframe.
All the rest of my stock were either too young or got here to late for the breeding season.
I successfully raised from tadpoles outside this year; Axolotl and Bufo bufo bred by friends of mine.
