My Amphibians stay out year round. they are fairly good at getting away from the frost so I wouldnt worry too much about them. As long as you have plenty of places for them to retreat to. have you guys any pictures of your enclosures that you keep them in?

a) Have you come up with any ideas to get people back on line? IVE TRIED EMAILING MEMBERS AGAIN TO GE THEM ONLINE b) How about emailing members? DONE c) What about a Census on numbers of reps.& amphibs. folks have bred this year. IVE STARTED THREADS LIKE THIS BEFORE AND THEY WORK WELL d) Find out from members why they are not contributing to the Forum. FEEL FREE TO START A THREAD ON THIS e) Revamp the site, or design a new one. I THINK A NEW SITE WOULD LOOSE ALL THE INFO ONLINE HERE AND THAT WOULD BE A SHAME
We seem to get quite a lot of guests viewing, are they most likely to be members not logging in? POSSIBLY
Hope you get some feedback, All the best B.

I think it would be a real shame to take this site down and start a new one as there is an absoloute wealth of knowledge on here that is simply available no where else on line or in books. there is a freewebs website attached to this site and perhaps it is need of a revamp. www.freewebs.com/outdoorvivaria I will look into the design of this site and see if I can organise an email system that notifies members about replies to their posts. a forum is only as good as its members however!

Some zoos use lights in their meerkat enclosures. I have always thought that it would be a great idea for an outdoor vivarium.

Congratulations! what species? just shows you some people over complicate things! I bet if you had of bought a thousand pound incubator and did a thousand different tests on the humidity temp etc it wouldnt have hatched ;D ; simplicity is sometimes the best way
