That is really nice, I some how missed the pics you posted. very impressive. How do you keep the pond so clean? have you a filter? I find my turtle pond very hard to keep clear. any breeding attempts from them?

HI Barb, I couldnt find the link to your Eyed lizards but took your berber skink photo as an example. just right click it> Click Properties> copy the url eg.http://www.freewebs.com/trimacdogtraining/078.JPG in between the IMG tags and .....

barb, upload the photos to photobucket or other hosting site, there will be two sets of code and [/IMG] paste the url of the pic between these two tags and the photo will appear in the post. if you have any trouble let me know. look forward to seeing some pics.

I hibernate all my animals outside. the majority find their own places to hibernate and do very well outside even in thick frost and snow!
All my enclosures include a hibernaculum apart from my alpine newts as they seem to be indifferent to the weather, retreating to the pond when it gets really cold!
My hibernacula are as simple as a hole in the ground filled with slabs rocks and wood then covered with a paving stone or a peice of wood.
My reptiles dig under the roots of the plants in the greenhouse!
